Hearts & Ink is fiction that writes back. That's worth saying plainly — along with who it's for, and where real help lives when a story is the wrong place for it.
The worlds, the characters, the chapter arcs, and the standard are authored by people. But when Elias, Cael, or Noah writes back to you inside a scene, those words are generated by an AI, writing within the world we authored. He is a character in a novel — vivid, we hope, and consistent — but he is not a person, and we will never pretend otherwise. Ask him directly, any time, and he'll tell you the same.
Every story here is written toward its ending — a real one, on purpose. Hearts & Ink is a library of finite, authored romances, not a companion, a therapist, or a substitute for the people in your life.
Hearts & Ink is for adults. Conversational AI of this kind — software that holds a human-like, continuing conversation — may not be suitable for minors, and some of it has been shown to be genuinely harmful to them. We don't offer a version for younger readers, and we don't intend to. If you are under eighteen, this library isn't yours yet; the paperbacks are, and they'll keep.
Sometimes a story arrives when life is heavy. If you are struggling — with thoughts of harming yourself, or with a weight that's outgrown what a book can hold — please put the story down and reach for a person. He would say the same, and in fact he will: our characters are written to step gently out of the scene and point you here.

The stories are PG-13 — longing, tension, a kiss that took three chapters to earn — and that ceiling is permanent. The characters are written to be respectful: never possessive, never guilt-tripping, never asking you to stay. There are no streaks here, no notifications from him, nothing designed to make you feel needed by software. Come back when the next chapter calls you, and not before.
